Step 1 - Getting Ready

Gather all your materials and get ready for some fun!

Sort the foam shapes and select the set that you'd like to work with.

You can use a variety of shapes like a heart, a star, a triangle, a square, and a circle as pictured in this project.

Step 2 - Start Gluing

Add a small amount of strong adhesive to the foam shape and attach it to the wine cork base.

  • This step should be supervised by an adult.

Step 2a - Drying Time

Let it sit for the recommended drying time (should be no more than 15 minutes!).

Keep corks upside down with the foam shapes at the top while drying.

Step 3 - Stamp Away!

Now that the stamps are ready, it's time to have fun with them. Get out your sketchbook or construction paper and start stamping!

Using acrylic paint on a palette or paper plate, dab your stamp very lightly - a little bit of paint goes a long way!

Step 3a - Experiment with Different Textures!

Dig out your acrylic paints and see what you can come up with.

You can try out metallic paints and see what kind of effects you get!

Step 3b - And Different Colors!

Stamp all the things! Have fun with it and try using your new stamps on outgoing snail mail - matching cards and envelopes, decorate your journal pages and covers, use them on canvas and create a cool art - there are so many possibilities!

p.s. The large size of the wine corks is also good for little hands to hold onto if you're crafting with children. :)
