This would be a great group project for friends and families alike! Everyone can add their own twist to their project to create a beautiful ornament collection.

Step 1 - Snow

Remove the silver cap to the ornament and squeeze some caulk into the bottom of the ornament.

The amount you use is up to your own personal preferences.

You can use the blunt end of a paint brush to swirl it around the bottom like snow drifts (a popsicle stick or capped pen will also work!)

Step 2 - Tree

Holiday Bottle Brush Baubles - Loose trees

Place a small dab of caulk onto the bottom of the cork base of the tree. This helps add a little weight to the bottom of the tree, and adherence, so when you drop it through the hole it lands upright.

Drop your tree! (You can also use tweezers to place your tree through the hole).

Use that same tool you used to make snow drifts above to gently press the tree base into your snow to assure it’s securely in place.

Step 3 - Fallen Snow

Add in a small amount of glitter or faux snow to give the effect of freshly fallen snow. This will stick to your caulk.

For a snow-globe ornament, add more glitter or faux snow after your caulk dries.

Step 4 - Finishing Touches

Replace the silver cap onto your ornament. Glue the end of your twine to the bottom of the silver cap just above the ornament.

Begin wrapping your twine around the cap. Place a dab of glue every so often to assure the twine stays in place. Once you reach the loop at the top immediately start wrapping the twine around the loop.

Once you reach the bottom of the other side, wrap your twine around the base of the full loop a couple of times and tuck the end into the center to be hidden. Secure with a final dab of glue.

When you're done, take a moment to appreciate what you've made!
