Simple Hoop Wreath finished
Finished simple hoop wreath hanging on white wall.

If you'd like to spruce up your home with a quick craft featuring some nature, this project is perfect for you!

This simple hoop wreath is so pretty and so easy to make! All you need is a wire hoop, some twine (or yarn!), some hot glue and dried flowers.

Have you been growing pretty flowers recently? You can document your garden's harvest by drying out a few of this season's flowers and adding them to a hoop.

You could also make a hoop to document a memorable occasion like birthdays, anniversaries, special events, or whatever your heart desires.

Step 1 - Getting Started

First, use a small amount of hot glue to attach the end of the twine to one side of the hoop.

Step 2 - Wrapping

Now, wrap the twine back and forth over the diameter of the hoop. You can add 10-15 rows of twine depending on your personal preference.

Step 3 - Placement

Simple Hoop Wreath - Step 3

Take a mixing stick, and push it through the twine - this will help create space to put your dried flowers.

Step 4 - Adding Flowers

Now it's time to place your dried flowers! Position a few into the gap that the mixing stick has created. Repeat this step until you have enough flowers in there.

Feel free to play around with flower color and texture as well as spacing - this step should let your creativity shine through!
