DIY Postcards

Set of 4 DIY hand drawn and scrapbook paper postcards
Yellow mandala postcard.

With InCoWriMo (International Correspondence Writing Month) around the corner (starts on February 1st!), I thought it would be fun to create some DIY postcards. I have a lot of card stock that I’ve been wanting to use up and with the magic of some glue and a black marker, I whipped up 8 postcards with only 4 sheets!

Materials List

The following list has all the supplies and tools you'll need to make this project.

Step 1

Cut both pieces of card stock into 4 pieces. Fold each piece in half along horizontal and vertical axes. Cut along folds to create 4 equal sized postcard pieces.

Step 2

Glue one piece of solid color cardstock to one piece of decorative paper. Place glue along borders and in center to make sure card is well adhered.

Step 3

DIY doodle postcards, pen, scissors

On the solid color side, with a marker, draw a center line, 4 address lines, and a decorative stamp outline.

Step 4

Set of 5 DIY handmade and handdrawn postcards

This is optional but if you’re feeling extra creative, decorate the outer sheet with doodles.

Now you’re ready to send out some cute postcards to your new pen pals! :)
