If you’re like a lot of crafters, you may have a button stash of random buttons sitting around waiting to be sewn on something. But what if you have so many buttons and not enough things to sew them on? Time to make some button jewelry like a flower button pendant! Let me show you how :)

Before starting the gluing phase, test out your design on a flat surface like a table. Place medium sized buttons around small button to ensure you like the spacing and if you need more or less “petals”. Play around with a larger center button and smaller “petal” buttons and vice versa. It changes your design quite a bit with some variety!

For this project, you can use 5 medium sized buttons about .5 inches in diameter for the 'petals', 1 small button that's about .3 inches in diameter for the flower center, and a larger button about 1 inch in diameter for the base.

Step 1

Glue small button in center of the flat side of the large button. This will guide you to place the “petal” buttons evenly.

Step 2

Glue medium buttons around the center button. Make sure to secure each button at a time.

Step 3

Finally, glue pendant loop to the back of the top “petal” button. Wear and show off your new pendant!
